I am a statistical data scientist. I live in Melbourne, Australia.
I teach statistics and do scientific research at the University of Melbourne. I am a group leader at Melbourne Integrative Genomics. My main research focus is on statistical genomics, but I tackle non-genetics projects as well.
I am the President of the Victorian Branch of the Statistical Society of Australia (SSA Vic).
I am a community builder. I organise and support activities that promote statistical thinking and its contribution to society.
I blog about ideas I encounter that make me think, questions I spend time looking up because I couldn’t find a good reference, and things I do that might be of wider interest.
If you ask me a hard question, there’s a good chance it will make an appearance here!
